Paid Search Marketing (PPC)
Have a new site or product? Need to promote your site or product
without spending a fortune in this ever competitive market?
What is Pay Per Click (PPC)?
Pay per click (PPC) (also called cost per click) is an Internet advertising used by Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, and Microsoft to display your Ad on the "Sponsored Listing" section of their respective search engine result pages (SERPs).
Exactly as it sounds, website owner pays a certain amount when the ad is clicked each time. It is also why the Google became such a large multi-billion dollar company in such short period.
The cost of each click depends on bidding as each website owner typically bids on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. The maximum amount that the website owner is willing to pay for a given keyword can be limited on a daily basis. For example, if the website owner sets a daily maximum budget of $200.00 at $1.00 per click, then the targeted keywords on the account will display until 200 clicks have been made and it will no longer appear for that given day.
Among PPC providers, Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, and
Microsoft adCenter used to be the three largest network operators. In
2010, Yahoo and Microsoft launched their combined effort against Google
and Microsoft's Bing began to be the search engine that Yahoo used to
provide its search results. Since then, Yahoo and Microsoft's joint PPC
platform was renamed AdCenter. Their combined network of third party
sites that allow AdCenter ads to populate banner and text ads on their
site is called BingAds.
How do we optimize PPC Marketing?Since the cost of each click on Pay per click (PPC) as used by Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, and Microsoft is based on bidding process against other advertisers, the automated auction takes place whenever a search for the keyword that is being bid upon occurs. The position of your Ad on the search engine result pages (SERPs) are influenced by the amount each has bid. The ad with the highest bid generally shows up first, though additional factors such as ad quality and relevance can sometimes come into play.
To maximize success in your PPC campaign, we employ automated bid management systems, to fine-tune your target audience, select relevant keywords and closely monitor your return on investment (ROI). If executed correctly, PPC ad campaigns can help you create new streams of visitors and increase your site’s visibility on the search engines.
